Unruly businessmen and business dealings rob off innocent Kenyans their hard-earned cash and millions of shillings throwing livelihoods off the rails.
It is the case of a Nairobi based government official who approached us to shade light into what he has been taken through.
Speaking in confidence to us, he said he had purchased two plots of land at a Nairobi-based company known as Konza Homes Limited owned by on Mose Walter Otiso.
It is said he also owns Chinese Limited and Chinese Holdings located at Afya Center 10th floor and Kiserian town end of 2021.
In documents in our possession and speaking to us, he intimated to us that made a lump sum deposit and monthly payments of twenty thousand on each piece.
One slot was completed by February 2022 with the agreement stating that the title deed will be ready in 3 months after the completion of payment which was May 2022.
Upon realising that there is failure to fullfill the agreement, he called the office and requested one more month which was to be June 2022 as he was on the campaign trail for an MCA seat in his area.
“After the second failure I stopped making payments on the second parcel until the first title is issues. There was a push and pull up until September”, he said.
It is then he was told that particular piece had issues and he would have to change the parcel and be handed another one in November 2022.
The former nominated MCA says he was not able to be handed another piece rather he was told he will have a refund of the cash.
It is said Mose has been making promises that he fails to fulfill most recently being April 24, 2022.
The fact that he told us to wait for money deposit from a client for him to pay us shows thats how he has been defrauding one person to pay another.
It is said Mose together with the wife and his staffers have confidence telling their client to report the matter to police as he is well connected at central police station and even at the DCI.
